33 years experience initially with two retail companies (Co-op and UDS). A partner of Leslie Furness until 1985 when he left to found Douglas Stevens & Company.
Doug is a respected member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors Arbitration and Independent Expert Panel with recent appointments in Bluewater, Bullring, Lakeside, Metrocentre and Eldon Square, on department stores and supermarkets throughout the UK and on prime Central London shops and stores in Bond Street, Oxford Street and Kings Road.
Well known amongst his peers, he is a former Chairman of the Shop Agents Society and now an Advisory Board member of the BCSC.
Apart from his third party work, Doug specialises in Shopping Centres, investment acquisition and disposal, and the formulation of letting and development strategies to ensure the asset performs to its maximum.

25 years experience initially with Bernard Thorpe(now DTZ). Joined Douglas Stevens in 1988.
Jamie specialises in retail asset enhancement dealing principally with shopping centres and large retail holdings. He aims to put forward strategies to clients to ensure income streams and future capital growth are maintained and increased.
Jamie is a keen cyclist and skier.

16 years property experience. Previously a Divisional Director at Nelson Bakewell and joined Douglas Stevens & Co in 2004.
He specialises in Shopping Centre Leasing, High Street Retail Agency and Retailer Acquisitions/Disposals. Currently working on a number of shopping centre instructions throughout the UK including Edinburgh - Ocean Terminal, Evesham - Riverside Centre, Leicester - The Haymarket Centre, Bootle - The Strand, Wellingborough - Swansgate Centre, Durham - theGates, Middlesbrough - The Cleveland Centre, Martineau Place – Birmingham, Wigan – The Galleries, Motherwell – Brandon Parade Shopping Centre, Great Yarmouth – Market Gates and Aylesbury - Hale Leys.
Also advises Muffin Break, Real Wood Company, Home & Cane and Joe Jennings Bookmakers.
He is the current Chairman of the Shop Agents Society and is a keen runner and cyclist.

Trevor joined Douglas Stevens & Co in 1999 and now has 24 years’ experience in the profession. As of June 2011, Trevor is now on the RICS President Panel of Arbitrators.
He deals primarily with active asset management initiatives within shopping centres, including rent reviews, lease renewals and lease restructuring, from strategy formulation to implementation through to completion, having represented a host of landlords including Chester Properties, Hermes, Thornfield, Standard Life, F&C, ING, Royal London, Invista, Schroders and UBS. As such, he has been involved in a variety of towns throughout the UK including Barking, Crystal Peaks, Dartford, Durham, High Wycombe, Leicester, Norwich, Redditch, St Albans, Southampton, Wakefield, Walsall and Yeovil.
He also acts for clients on High Street properties including Santander UK plc, J Leon, AXA, Scottish Widows, Kinleigh Folkard & Hayward, Redefine, Praxis, Canada Life and The RO Group.
In addition he has been instructed on high street agency by specific clients including Henderson, Scottish Widows, AXA and KFH, having acquired 2 new branch premises within Greater London and disposals in Canterbury, North Audley Street, London W1, Chatham, Walsall and Watford.
In this spare time Trevor likes to run and play the occasional game of golf.

Chris joined Douglas Stevens & Company in 2006 from Angermann Goddard & Loyd where he specialised in Shopping Centres, High Street and Retail Asset Management on behalf of institutional landlords and funds and private property companies.
Chris continues to be involved with Asset Management of high street portfolios and shopping centres and is also involved in a number of large leisure schemes and developments in Watford, Croydon, Hereford and Camberley which include a number of restaurant and hotel operators along with specialising in retailer expansion plans and stratagies.
Current clients include ING, Hermes, La Salle Investment Management, Hawkstone Properties, Strathmore Estates, Welbeck Investment Management and Capital & Regional along with a number of restaurant and retail clients.

Nick Clark joined Douglas Stevens & Co three years ago to provide expertise in the Out of Town market sector.
Covering the aspects of Investment Agency and development, operating nationally Nick advises a wide range of clients including institutional Investors, property companies, property developers and private individuals. Advice includes strategic investment analysis, creating asset enhancement opportunities, development appraisals, financing and funding, investment marketing, negotiation, transaction and legal liaison. Nicks clients include: Centros / Delancy, MCO Developments, Aviva, Schroders, Threadneedle, Columbus Capital, British Land, Land Securities, LXB, L&G, AXA, TDH, Metric Properties, Bristol & West, Britannia, F&C REIT and Chester Properties.
Nick’s interests include: Playing for the RICS and Accessible Retail Football teams, Boxing, Fitness Training, and is a self confessed Petrol Head!! His passion is Norwich City Football Club and naturally Delia Smith’s cooking!!

Dominic specialises in High Street retail investment and letting agency, working with both institutional and private clients. He is appointed on numerous shopping centres nationwide and advises on development projects including the proposed 300,000ft² John Lewis anchored shopping centre in Chelmsford town centre. Clients include Threadneedle, The East of England Co-operative, Aquila House Holdings, Ellandi, The Monument Group, The Carlyle Group and Crownway Investments.
In this spare time Dominic enjoys skiing, sailing and tennis.
