Douglas Stevens BSc (Est Man) FRICS

30 years experience initially with two retail companies (Co-op and UDS).
A partner of Leslie Furness until 1985 when he left to found Douglas Stevens
& Company.
Doug is a respected member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors
Arbitration and Independant Expert Panel with recent appointments in Lakeside,
Meadowhall, Merry Hill, Metrocentre and Eldon Square, and on department
stores and supermarkets.
Well known amongst his peers he is a former Chairman of the Shop Agents
Society. Apart from his third party work, he specialises in all aspects
of the Shopping Centre. Whether the advice relates to investment acquisition
or disposal, development or lettings the aim is to ensure the asset performs
to its maximum.

John Davies MRICS

30 years experience primarily with Churston Heard before joining Douglas
Stevens in 1997.
John specialises in shopping centre and retail investment. John's investment
knowledge and contacts are invaluable for the rest of the team when considering
a broad range of the projects the company is involved with.

Jamie Simister BSc (Hons) MRICS

21 years experience initially with Bernard Thorpe(now DTZ). Joined Douglas
Stevens in 1988.
Jamie specialises in retail asset enhancement dealing principally with
shopping centres and large retail holdings. He aims to put forward strategies
to clients to ensure income streams and future capital growth are maintained
and increased.

Richard Mills BSc (Hons) MRICS

12 years experience. Previously a Divisional Director at Nelson Bakewell and joined Douglas Stevens & Co in 2004.
He specialises in High Street retail agency, Shopping Centre leasing and retailer acquisitions. Currently working on Croydon Whitgift Centre, Evesham Riverside Centre, Leicester Haymarket, Bootle Strand, Wellingborough Swansgate, Durham theGates and Middlesbrough The Mall.
He is also advising Muffin Break, Rooms and Flight Centre on acquisition of retail units throughout the UK.

Trevor Pyne BSc MRICS

20 years experience initially with Healey & Baker and then Leslie Furness.
He joined Douglas Stevens in 1999.
Trevor has considerable experience in dealing with rent reviews and lease
renewals within shopping centres, from strategy formulation to implementation,
having represented a host of landlords including Chester Properties Limited,
Hermes, Thornfield, Standard Life, F&C, ING, Royal London, Invista, Schroders
and UBS. In this regard, he has been involved in a variety of towns
throughout the UK including St Albans, Southampton, Redditch, Walsall, Leicester,
Dartford, Norwich, Wakefield, High Wycombe, Walsall, Barking, Yeovil, Durham
and Crystal Peaks.
He also acts for a number of clients on High Street properties including
Bradford & Bingley Plc, J Leon, AXA, Scottish Widows, Canada Life and
The RO Group.

Nick Cook BSc (Hons) MRICS

13 years experience with retail companies Somerfield and BhS. He joined
Douglas Stevens in 2002.
Nick currently works very closely with Focus Ejendome AS, a private Danish Property Company and Fund Manager in relation to the purchase, asset management and rationalisation of their property assets. Nick uses his expertise to formulate appropriate strategies for each property in order to maximise their performance and investor returns.
Nick is also an expert in the large space user market acting on store acquisitions for Primark and handling large store rent review instructions for London & Regional, the Prudential, Grosvenor Estates, Canada Life, Tesco, TJ Hughes, Scottish Widows, LaSalle Investment Management and New Star Asset Management. Nick is currently also working closely with Halladale on their shopping centres Grays, Leighton Buzzard and Gravesend.

Chris Hovington

Previously with Angermann Goddard & Loyd, Chris joined in June 2006 where
he specialised in Shopping Centres, acquisitions and disposals and high street
agency.
Currently working on Crystal Peaks Shopping Centre, Sheffield for
Hermes, schemes in Gravesend, Leighton Buzzard and Grays for Halladale, a
new development on Baker Street for London & Regional and acquisitions for a
number of various retailers. Chris is also working with a number of
retailers in Central London and the West End who are looking to expand
